When it comes to moving and handling, Molift is one of the specialists in the field. Our aim is to give carers, both formal and informal, better back health, which will enable them to provide more attention, love and care to the person they are caring for.

The employer is required by law to provide safe and suitable equipment within the workplace, to enable employees to do the job for which they were employed without risks to their health and safety.

It is a well known fact that muscular strain can cause irreparable physical injuries and that many carers suffer from chronic muscular-skeletal injuries from the daily manual handling of people. Our physiotherapists and technical experts have identified  postures and situations when carers are most at risk during any manual handling. We have therefore designed a range of products to eliminate and most certainly reduce the risk of manual handling injury.


Moving and Handling

Moving and handling is a partnership between carer, equipment and user. Importantly the carer must have the knowledge to use the equipment and the skill to put the user at ease during manual handling transfers.

Molift acknowledge that every persons moving and handling needs are different and there are no standardised answers. Therefore we aim to solve carers and users transfer problems.

Our claim is that the well being of the user depends on the well being of the carer. We look after the carer by providing the ultimate in moving and handling equipment as well as delivering expert training in how to use it. Ultimately the effect of excellent products and in depth training is reduced sickness and absence in the workplace.
